Above The Fold: Supply Chain Logistics News (May 23, 2025)
The most important supply chain & logistics news, including logistics management, transportation management, third-party logistics, supply chain software.
It’s the Friday of Memorial Day weekend here in the US, which means many folks will be taking the day off to make the long weekend even longer. So, I’ll keep it brief this morning.
Now that I have a son in the Army Reserves, Memorial Day has a deeper meaning for me. During a keynote presentation at a conference last year, a veteran remarked, “Whenever someone says ‘Thank you for your service’ to me, what I hear is, ‘Thank you for your willingness to die for me’.”
I hear the same thing now whenever someone says that to my son, and I can’t put into words what I feel inside when it happens. Deep pride, yes, but so much more.
I am grateful to all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and freedom, and to their families too. May their memories forever be a blessing.
Moving on, here’s the supply chain and logistics news that caught my attention this week:
